What we need from you
- A link to the listing, or the photos themselves. Every room should appear in at least one photo.
- The floor plan, if there is one. Without it we draw the plan from the photos and ask you to confirm a few dimensions.
- Anything the photos do not show that matters to you: which way the balcony faces, the floor the flat is on.
What you get back
- 360° views of every room and at every turn, so the next room is always one step away.
- A floor plan that shows where you stand, with a tap to jump to any room.
- A smooth walk from room to room along the real layout, not cuts between photos.
- One link that opens on any phone, plus a copy of the tour files to host yourself.
- The tour placed on your website: we do it for you, included in the price.
- Still images from the same model, if the listing needs better photos too.
Why rebuild instead of scanning
Most virtual tours start with someone on site with a 3D camera. That means booking a visit, moving tenants or guests out of the way, and paying for the trip. For an apartment that has already been photographed, the visit mostly re-records what the photos already show.
Walkly starts from those photos. We model the walls and openings from the plan, place the furniture and finishes from the photos, set the daylight from the way the windows face, and render the 360° views. The result is a tour of the apartment as it was photographed.
Make it yourself, or have it made
If you can get into the apartment, phone apps can capture a 360° tour and 3D scanning apps can record it as a model. Both need someone on site, room by room. A tour from listing photos is for when nobody needs to go there: the apartment is already photographed, occupied, far away, or one of many. Our guide compares the routes: how to make a virtual tour without a 360 camera.
AI apps that turn one flat photo into a 360° image are something else again. Each view is generated on its own, so rooms do not join up and details can be invented. Our views are all rendered from one 3D model of your apartment, so they agree with each other and with the photos.
What we tell you up front
A tour from photos is a reconstruction. Layout, furniture and finishes follow the photos closely; a corner that no photo shows is built from the plan and kept plain, and we tell you which ones. It is a way to show an apartment, not to measure it: for surveys and insurance, a site scan is the right tool.
Questions
How many photos do you need?
Enough that every room appears at least once, ideally from two sides. A typical listing set of 10 to 30 photos works. More angles mean fewer guesses.
What if the photos are dark or wide-angle?
That is normal for listing photos. We correct for the lens and work out the daylight from the windows, so the tour is evenly lit even where a photo was not.
Can you change the furniture?
Yes, if you ask: restyled rooms, a different finish, an empty flat. By default the tour matches the photos, because that is what the guest will find.
Is it a 360° photo tour?
No. A 360° photo tour is a set of photos taken on site with a special camera. Ours is rendered from a 3D model, so a viewpoint can be placed anywhere in a room, and no visit is needed.
Can you make a virtual tour from regular photos?
Yes, that is what we do. Ordinary photos cannot be stitched into a 360° view, but they can be the source for a 3D rebuild of the apartment, and the tour is rendered from that model.
Do I need a 360 camera?
No. We need no camera at all: the listing photos and the floor plan are enough.
